New Gira Fingerprint Module

The Gira System 106 intercom is by far the most popular intercom we install here at CEAV. Its beautiful industrial design and class-leading features make it one of the best intercom systems on the market. However, it has been missing a capability that other Gira and third-party intercoms have had for a while. That is, until now.

Gira has just added their KeylessIn fingerprint reader to the System 106 home station, adding biometric access control to its flagship intercom product. In combination with the Gira DCS intercom app, settings on the fingerprint module can be accessed, providing the ability to manage users' fingerprints and access schedules. For example, you can allow the housekeeper access only between 9am and 11am. A home automation system can also utilise the fingerprint module. For example, a lighting scene can be triggered when the fingerprint module grants access to a user.
